Use the “Copy message” button on the card.

Send it to an AI assistant that supports MCP.

Open the authorization page, sign in to MeSQ, review read access, and enable write access only if needed.

Try “List my recent Memos.” A result means the connection works.

Please connect this MCP service for me: https://mesq.app/mcp. Add it as a remote MCP service using a method supported by this AI tool and start browser-based authorization. Open the authorization page in an available browser so I can sign in and review the permissions. If you cannot open a browser, send me the authorization link and continue connecting after I authorize it. Once connected, tell me what I can do with my current permissions; if you cannot connect, explain why.

A few things to know first.
Can AI see all my MeSQ data?
It cannot cross accounts. The assistant can use only tools allowed by your product scopes, but it may read data within those scopes. Grant only what you need.
Can I allow reading without changes?
Yes. Leave write permissions off on the authorization page. The assistant can then only read the content you authorize.
Connected, but missing a product’s tools?
Check whether the authorization page included that product. If it did not, ask your AI tool to request its permissions and authorize again.
Do I need to create a token?
No. AI tools that support browser-based authorization guide you through sign-in and permissions. Tokens are needed only for manual setup.
How do I disconnect later?
Sign in to MeSQ and revoke that AI tool’s access under Settings → Integrations.
Why is AI semantic search unavailable?
Keyword search always works. Semantic search requires the deployment to configure an embedding service.
